FAQs
How do I reserve a session with you? How long in advance?
You can simply email me at co.ssin@outlook.com with the subject line stating your Full Name, Event Type, Event Date, and Location, and in the email you can provide further details of what you need. In addition, if the location or event date is not yet decided, please let me know in the email and when you have the information notify me as soon as possible. Additionally, a 25% deposit and a signed contract are required to successfully secure your spot with me. Lastly, to avoid disappointment, please book a MINIMUM of 2 weeks PRIOR to your event.
Do I need to make a deposit to secure my spot?
Yes, as mentioned above, a 25% deposit is required to successfully secure your spot with me.
Do you really need a contract?
Yes, signed contracts are 100% necessary and are required to secure your sessions with me. In case of emergencies, delays, injuries, the contract will help with any liabilities/insurance claims.
Do I get every image you shoot?
No. I eliminate duplicate images, any test shots, unintentional blurry/out of focused shots, bad expressions and other images that may weaken the overall product delivery.
Does your studio provide videography services?
Unfortunately, at the moment my studio does not provide videography services. If video coverage is needed, please let me know and I will happily assist you in finding the perfect videographer for your event.
When do I get my photos?
Once all final payments are made, the editing will begin. Post production delivery will take anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks, please keep in mind that this is a general time frame. Clients who choose me to photograph their birthdays can expect their photos within 1-3 weeks, however clients who choose me to capture their pre-wedding events can expect a delivery time anywhere between 2-4 weeks. Editing duration can take longer depending on the type of event. If the delivery date is approaching and more time is needed, I will reach out to my client 1 BUSINESS WEEK (5 days) in advance, to let them know that there will be a delay and provide them with a new delivery date. In addition, I will offer a 25% deduction on their next shoot with me.
Why does it take so long?
As a designer and an artist, I take both my time and pride in my work. I vow to consistently provide clients with breathtaking photos regardless of the event, and a large portion of that is done in post-production. Some clients find it hard to believe that editing takes longer than the actual shoot itself. Editing takes time and in some cases, a lot of trial and error to achieve the perfect look. In some cases, additional edits are needed and oftentimes this is what takes up the bulk of editing. For example, removing strands of hair from a person's face, adding someone into a photo, removing unwanted light posts, benches or garbage bins, etc. Some scenarios are much easier than others, hence the trial and errors to make the photo look as natural as possible.
Can I just get the RAW files?
The very simple answer is no. As a photographer, I will never send RAW files to a client. This is simply because my work is half complete and you will not have the correct programs to open the files.
Can you make me look slimmer?
Simply, the answer is no. I do not provide any retouching services that will make clients look “slimmer”, “more fit” or “look buff and muscular”. I, personally, believe that all clients are beautiful and extensive edits as mentioned above are unnecessary and very harmful to one's self-esteem.
